Manufacture of replacement keyboards for control systems of wind power plants
A customer needs a replacement for the old Foil keyboards of his wind power plants. The keyboards are integrated into a front panel and can not be replaced without replacing the front foil.
The production of new front foils and Foil keyboards is not economical because of the high cost for the small order quantity.
IBU produces new keyboards that are glued over the old operating area. They are constructed in a sandwich structure. This saves time and money. The customer can install the keyboards itself with little effort.
The keyboards consist of the following layers:
A protective foil protects the keyboard from external influences.
The film can be designed as desired. In this case is a black and white print.
The carrier plate is used as a spacer for the switches that are mounted on the board.
A transfer foil connects the carrier plate and the board.
On the board buttons and connection cables are mounted. Also other components can be placed.
The keyboard is glued with a transfer foil on the front panel.
